Today we’re going to talk about a gorgeous little kitty named Furby! Furby is a five to six year old Siamese Torti Point girl that is looking for her final, forever home.

Poor Furby has been returned to the NHSPCA twice, neither of which had anything to do with her. We first met little Furby back in 2009 and she was adopted along with another cat. Unfortunately, after two years in that home, Furby and the other cat weren’t getting along. Her owners brought her back to us. Again, she was adopted a few months back and then just last week the adopters returned her because they needed to move and couldn’t take Furby with them.
Furby is a pretty typical Siamese and can be a bit of a diva. Once she gets to know you, you’ll see her true personality! Furby really enjoys cuddling and being patted. She will snake her way in and out of your legs, rubbing all over you and purring! She also likes watching birds out the window and snacking on kitty treats. Furby lived with other kitties in her previous home, but she will probably do best without young children, as she tends to get a little overwhelmed by a lot of commotion. If you have a quiet home that’s missing something, stop by and meet Furby today! She will be a great addition to your family!

Like all of our other kitties, Furby is already spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her shots!

Want to help more animals like Furby? Register NOW for The New Hampshire SPCA’s 20th Annual PAWS WALK!

Gather your family and friends and join us for the largest grassroots event on the Seacoast to benefit the animals!
Paws Walk will be held on Sunday, June 10 at Stratham Hill Park – it’s a fun day for the whole family you won’t want to miss! To register, go to our website at nhspca.org and click on the link for Paws Walk!

Today we’re going to talk about Jasmine, a sweet, lovable senior girl looking for a loving retirement home. She is an Australian Shepard mix, and is going to be someone’s new best friend.
Jasmine is 11 years old and came into the shelter two weeks ago because the only people she’d ever known as her family, could no longer care for her. They had given her a home for 10 years and were now moving to an apartment that wouldn’t allow her there.
She came in skinny and with hot spots from a flea allergy. We are treating her flea allergy and helping her to adjust to this environment, but she’d much rather be in a home.
Jasmine has lived with both cats and dogs and has been good with them here as well. She has also lived with children. She is quiet, calm and really easy to walk on leash. The staff and volunteers have already fallen in love with her, and all we hope for is that an adopter will come and fall in love with her too – soon.
Due to her age, Jasmine qualifies as a Seniors for Seniors adoption candidate which means, for a person 65 years old or greater, we would completely waive the adoption fee for miss Jasmine.
Like all of our cats, dogs and bunnies, Jasmine is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on all of her shots.
And, speaking of shots, we have our second Rabies and microchip clinic coming up on Sunday, April 15, from 10:00 am to 1:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary but your pets must be on a leash or in a carrier. The cost is $15.00. nh.spca.org

Shadow is gorgeous, six year old brown tiger kitty who has been with us for quite a while now, and honestly, we’re not sure why! She is a friendly and social girl who loves to be petted and cuddled. She is also extremely playful, and loves toys (especially ones with catnip!).
She originally spent her time at the shelter in a community room, where she lived with other cats, but we soon learned that she is happiest without other kitties around. She is much more comfortable in her new environment, where she has her area all to herself! We’re not sure how she would do with dogs, but she would probably be okay in a family with older kids.
Poor Shadow has been here since last summer because her owner passed away and she had nowhere else to turn. For some reason, Shadow seems to get overlooked here at the shelter, but every day she hopes it will be her day to find her forever home.
Like all of our cats, dogs and bunnies, Shadow is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on all of her shots.
Come in and meet this pretty girl today!

Today we’re going to talk about Maggie Clair, a gorgeous Domestic Short Hair cat. She is muted tortoiseshell with shades of gray, white and gold. Her picture really doesn’t do her justice. She came to us as a stray and like the vast majority of stray cats, was never claimed. We believe she is about 7 years old. She can be a bit timid, but is quite friendly once she warms up to you. Since she is a bit reserved, a quiet home environment with little stress would be the best for her.

She is spayed, micro chipped, up to date on all of her shots, and would be a wonderful addition to a quiet loving family. Come in and meet this pretty girl today!

We’d also like to invite you to come and “Freeze Your Tail Off” for the Animals! This St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17th! The New Hampshire SPCA will hold its 2nd Annual Doggy Paddle Plunge.
